I swear that I aged about 15 years while doing this shoot…both because it was a challenge with 40 High School students and because, well, they were High School students and I’m…well…old. Still, it was tons of fun and I was pretty excited that I was asked to photograph these very handsome guys and beautiful girls as they prepared to head out for prom.

Olivia- Class of 2010

October 13, 2009

You may remember Miss Olivia from our mini spring shoot. I recently had the opportunity work with her again for her actual Senior Photos. This girl is so dang adorable, inside and out. Her family owns one of the famous pumpkin patches here in town, so we of course had to take advantage of that location…and then we headed to the beach for sunset. The night we shot was beyond fabulous…the kind of light photographers want to put in a bottle and carry around with us! I also want to bottle the smile on this girl…so genuine and beautiful. Congratulations Olivia…I’m so happy to have gotten to know you this year. You rock! Click on the green arrow below….

Any other seniors out there…there is still plenty of time to get FUN senior photos this year. Olivia and I had a great time shooting these and I promise you will have fun shooting yours too. All sessions are completely customized for you and your interests…we can include sports equipment, hobbies, you name it, I’m game. Are you???

Olivia has really outdone herself connecting me with Senior representatives for the Class of 2010. First she connected me with the fabulous Brandon and Josh and earlier this week I got to meet Shannon…another wonderful soon to be senior.

She and I talked a bit before we met about her style, and I was pretty excited when she said she was a “girlie girl”…and I loved when I met her and she was wearing this beautiful dress and peep toe pumps.

And the dress and shoes were fabulous for sure, but look at this face…(sigh)

Then she changed into yet another adorable and colorful outfit…I LOVED it!

09-Ap-Shannon1229-edit09-Ap-Shannon126609-Ap-Shannon1269-editThen we took ourselves down by the beach for a few shots…even though it was a little cold and windy. I thought the wind worked to our advantage in this shot.

09-Ap-Shannon1001-edit09-Ap-Shannon1018-bw09-Ap-Shannon1014-editWe tried to blow some bubbles but the wind was a bit of an issue. I love this series of shots…I think they are better than if the bubbles would have actually worked out.

collage1Thank you Shannon. You are GORGEOUS and wonderful and I’m so glad that you are working with me this year!

So here is a sneak peek of the boys I had the pleasure of meeting yesterday. I told them that they give me hope for this generation. They were absolutely darling. (I’m sure soon to be senior boys don’t want to be called darling…but what else do you say about handsome, athletic boys with wonderful manners and smiles like these?).

Ok..they were awesome, and fun to work with and I hope they like what we came up with. Yes, they are twins, but I’m editing their shoot as 2 individual guys with some bonus together shots in the mix too.

Here they are…

I’m so excited that I am going to be photographing High School Seniors. Today was my first 2010 senior rep. shoot with the beautiful Miss Olivia. It was so fun to work with her and her mom. I’ve known Olivia’s mom (and dad) since…well, since forever…and I appreciate them sharing their pretty girl with me for these photos…and I appreciate Olivia helping me get my Senior rep program off of the ground…this is going to be fun!!

proof-04_09-OliviaC-473All of these shots were taken in and around Olivia’s house…her family owns a landscaping company, so as you can imagine the flowers were gorgeous!

proof-04_09-OliviaC-542And I had to try a couple where she was “on her way” somewhere, since she is on her way to her senior year!
